BUDAPEST Szekeres Pál, a Nemzeti Erőforrás Minisztérium sportért felelős helyettes államtitkára is részt vesz a Varjú Vilmos Olimpiai Baráti Kör találkozóján.

Az olimpiai eszme népszerűsítésére 2007-ben létrejött Baráti Kör minden hónapban szervez klubtalálkozót, ahová olimpikonokat, paralimpikonokat, illetve kontinens és világversenyeken érmes helyezést elért sportolókat hívnak vendégül. A májusi találkozó vendége az olimpiai bornzérmes, többszörös paralimpai bajnok helyettes államtitkár mellett Kovács Iván olimpiai ezüstérmes párbajtőröző, a paralimpiai vívócsapat szövetségi kapitánya, valamint Krajnyák Zsuzsanna, többszörös világbajnok paralimpikon vívó lesz.
